Aysha Fida - My Teaching Portfolio

Ontario Certified K-6 Elementary Teacher

About me

My name is Aysha Fida and this is my 8th year teaching Kindergarten at Toronto District School Board. Previously, I have taught kindergarten as an Early Childhood Educator. However, starting September 2024, I am now a certified teacher candidate teaching grade 1-6. I was born in Afghanistan and immigrated to Canada in 2003. I have been married for over 6 years and I have two children named Hadiya and Hamza. I attended Humber College where I earned my Early Childhood Diploma followed by attending York University where I have earned my BA in Children’s Studies/Humanities and then earned my Masters of Science in Education from Medaille University. My favourite thing to do is to travel the world, experiencing the new culture and language and to spend time with my family!
